Mom Attack! ~~~ Other topic

So there is a group on Cafemom that I am in. We support mom who create handmade items and sell them. Every week a mom is choosen and we "attack" her, meaning we link her shop, purchase if you can, blog, or tweet about the shop. Its a great way to get traffic in and new customers.

So where has the time gone? Can anyone tell me? I know I have been busy crocheting and going on trips, its just flown by. The New Year is creeping up on us and I have been racking my brain for new items to add to the shop to see. As always I would love to hear what you all would like to see. So if you have any ideas please feel free to let me know!

I am wanting to do a giveaway when we hit 275 fan on Facebook. It will be an item of your choice and possible a credit to the store. I have not yet worked out the details as well. Next week is my birthday and I am thinking about doing a discount, what do you all think. I want to get more people introduced to my items. Please share with everyone you know, I would greatly appreciate it!

It was a close one BUT......

We have a WINNER!!! There were three of you that where SOOO close and it was hard to decide the winner! Sorry its taken me a while to get on here to post who the winner was but I was having to deal with a very horrible headache and was very light sensitive for a few days. I am much better now as I can sit on the computer and write this post.

So are you all ready to know who the winner is? I am sure that you are since you all have been waiting to find out. Well my son weighted in at 8lbs 2oz and is 21 inches long. So I had my mom help me figure out who the winner was because it was a close call. So the Winner of this contest/giveaway is Jblunkall and their guess was 8lbs and 20 inches long. They were off by .2oz and 1inch for the babies height. So that's how we decided who the winner was. So Congrats to you!! 200th Fan Giveaway!!

Sorry fans for my lack of Blogging! I have been nesting BAD!!! Any who like I said before if we got to 200 fans I would do a giveaway and we made it to the Day that I wanted to get to 200 by! I am super excited and I couldn't do it without you all! Thank you all so much!

As you all know I am scheduled to have my second child tomorrow via c-section and I am extremely anxious to meet him and welcome him to our family! I had my pre-op appointment this morning and we go to the hospital tomorrow at 6:30am! Wow that is just super early for me, lol. I have an estimate of what he will be weighting.

So here is the Giveaway/ Contest that I am going to do for you fans. Its SUPER easy! All you have to do is post in the comment how much you think he is going to weight and how long he will be! Only ONE comment per person! If you invite new fans to the page they can also jump in on this giveaway/contest as well! So I will give you a little bit of history to help you with guessing. I was an 8lb and some change baby and my husband was almost a 10lb baby. I am 5ft6 and dad is an inch taller then I am. Hopefully that will give you an idea. To my friends and Family you need to get your entry in TONIGHT if you are going to participate in this because I will be sending a text tomorrow when the baby is born so it would not be fair if you all posted your comment AFTER knowing the right information. I just wanted to tell you all THANK YOU so much for getting the word out and being part of my fans! I hope you all had fun. I know it was super easy and there wasn't much to it at all. Everyone likes a easy giveaway right?

Woohoo Fans! I am happy to say that I got all the details down for the giveaway! Crafty Jones Creations reached 100 Fans on Friday and I had to rack my brain as to what I wanted to do for a giveaway. Let me tell you its much harder then I thought with having major Preggo Brain, lol. So what I am going to do is I am going to give a $10 credit to my shop for you to spend on whatever you see fit!

Manic Monday!

So, it was a busy Monday for us over here! To start the day off we woke up late! So after checking my email and facebook it was time to get ready and head out to my sons 3yr old wellness check up. We were suppose to be there 15min early and lets just say that it didnt happen. We got there like maybe 5minutes before his appointment. I thought that I had left with enough time to get there. Apparently all the slow drivers in VA where on the highway today, because OMG I was stuck behind every single one of them! When we finally got through the check point on base I was glad that the clinic was easy to find.

My son did awesome at his appointment. He kept wanting to lay down on the bed because he thought that he was going to the Dr. to have his baby checked up on. He thinks he has a baby growing in his belly like his mommy!! Its to cute! He did well with the Dr. and she was pretty awesome. He is getting another speech evaluation done, which is alright. He hasn't seen a speech therapist since we left TX in November. I hope he scores high on the evaluation.

So lets back up a bit! Friday was awesome! I woke up and saw that I broke 100 on my fan page on Facebook. It was very nice to see that and I am super excited. I also had my ultrasound done too and got to see the baby. Lets just say that we hav a little chunky boy on our hands. He is almost 6lbs and I was only 34wks! So to say the least I can't wait to meet my second little man!

As promised I am going to do a giveaway. I hope I get alot of people to participate in the giveaway. I want my fans to interact with me. It would be awesome. I am right now doing the final touches to the giveaway. It should be fun and I hope you all do have fun and jump in. Have some interaction! It would be awesome!

Now on to some other news! I have been racking my brain at night when I should be sleeping and I have come up with a few things that I want to sell that are not crocheted items. I am extremely excited to start them. So if you have an infant or know someone who does keep an eye out.

Also there will be some exciting things happening around here very, very soon! I am so excited about it. I am not sure if I can say anything about it because its still in the first stages right now. Once its up and going I will be sure to let you all know whats going on. Lets just say I am OVERLY excited about this opportunity!

Oh yes! I have a few new hats that are in the making but I will share with you all one that I finished last week and will be posting in my shop here soon.

Saturday is my son's 3rd birthday and I still have a few more things to get done before the party! The end of August has become a busy one for us. Of course I will get my crocheting done because that is my relax time and unwind time as well.

Contest, Contest!

Well I figured it would be fun to have a contest and get the word out about my shop! What do you think? Its going to be so easy and fun as well. So lets see what you have to do!

Spread the word on your Facebook about my fan page Crafty Jones Creations and have them fan my page. When they fan my page please have them comment that you sent them to my page. They too can join in on the contest! They just have to do what you did. Spread the word and have their friends become fans! I just need to get the word out about my new shop and get some customers! Word of mouth is the greatest advertisement ever!

Now the one who gets the most people to fan my page will get to pick one item out of my shop here to have customized to your liking! How does that sound?

The contest will run til oh next Wednesday the 18th! So you have a week to get as many people to fan my page. I will also do contest like this as well for each milestone that I have. Like for instance when I reach 100 fans on my fan page I will do another contest like this as well.

Oh yes I also forgot please post on the blog as well. Facebook doesnt allow contests to be ran on the fan pages so thats why we are doing it on my blog. So once they fan on Facebook have them leave a message on there and on the blog as well. I will have random.org pick out the winner.

Welcome to Crafty Jones Creations!! Please bare with me as I get things underway. I would like to take the time to let you all know about Crafty Jones Creations. First off everything that will be posted and shown are all hand made by me. The items that I will be selling will range from sewing to crocheting to hair accessories! Everything can be customized to the colors and sizes that you like and need. The prices of the items will be reasonable and not outrageous at all.
